Question:
How long has "Welcome Home Care Agency" been serving the community?

Answer:
We have been serving the community for more than 12 years. We offer quality care and reputable service that has made us a leader in the vital field of home care.

Question:
When should I consider home health care?

Answer:
The time to consider home health care for you or a loved one is when help is needed with some or all of the normal activities of daily living - such as bathing, assistance with elimination, assistance with administration of medication, housekeeping, cooking, shopping, laundry and other household tasks.

Ideally, home health care is - like anything else - a step that best planned for in advance as in the case of a home recovery from an elective surgery or when the caregiver in the family plans a vacation or simply needs relief. In reality, these instances are the exceptions rather than the rule. Fortunately, "Welcome Home Care Agency" has a working staff of more than 100 caregivers and is often able to fill your needs even with very short notice.

Question:
Isn't home health care expensive?

Answer:
Home health care costs differ greatly depending on the individual case, but are usually much lower than the long-term care facility alternative. The cost of room and board in a nursing home per year can range from $36,000 to $60,000 and higher, depending on geographic location and care needs. Room and board in an assisted living facility may cost from $20,000 to $35,000 annually and upward. In addition to the cost of room and board in nursing homes and assisted living, facilities, care recipients also assume the cost of medication, supplies and personal care items.

Question:
Can our loved one really receive the care they need in the home?

Answer:
The answer to this is emphatically yes! If your loved one is a candidate for home health care, the level of care is usually higher than that of a long-term care solution. That is not to say that long-term care facilities are unable to give good care, but that the care given to an individual who is in a one-to-one basis can often times be more encompassing.

Clients find that in addition to having their physical needs safely met, is also accomplished by providing such tasks as psychosocial dialogue and / or activities that allow clients to remain at home and maintain their independence, social ties, and their sense of respect, security and control.
